Summary: Left4Dead2 is a first person shooter that allows you to kill hordes of zombies... It does get repetitive after a while and the story line could be better. The best part is that each "stage" is treated like a zombie movie and at the end credits roll stating things like "378 zombies were killed during the filming of this movie". It was fun to play, but it would be so much better if the story line was improved and some really good cut scenes were added.
Summary: When I first got it I didn't know it was going to take like two days to download from Steam. It's very nice on single player. Don't bother trying to play online if you have a windows 8.1, trust me because you'll just be wasting you time contacting steam support and they will take you on a 2 or 3 week goose chase around the net and on your computer, and eventually you will end up reformatting your whole computer again.
Summary: its still fun and definitely worth the 20 dollars. Steam is a big issue for most since you never actually "own" the game. you are really just purchasing privileges to use the game. Steam has its own Pros and Cons but it doesn't have to do with the game so no point in adding it.
Pros: -Lots of fun with your friends -Its nice to take the side of the zombies. -actually takes teamwork to succeed in all of the game modes -Nice and balanced gameplay -the almost constant updates and the addition of player made skins and models is nice.
Cons: -Pubbing(just playing random servers) isn't always fun. you get stuck with people who don't even know the controls and are confused by the game all the time. -Versus is mostly ganna go 2 way. either dominate and the other team rage quits before the match is over. or you get dominated and your team leaves you.
Great Game too bad it requires steam and a huge download

Summary: Steam in and of itself is not a bad thing. THe ability to buy games through tem and they keep the registrations and you always can reinstall is a good idea. However I did not buy this through Steam and would like to use it on multiple machines. Not at the same time but Steam will not allow this.
Pros: It really is a great Game. Marred only by the Cons.
Cons: Can only be installed and played through the steam client. You buy the disc to install and have the media for futrue use. Developers have gotten lazy and now use Steam as their catch all delveiry and copyright protection system. Once you buy this disc you can never resell it, reinstall it elsewhere unless that is your own Steam terminal or do anything you should have the rights to do with media you purchased.
Summary: I played the original L4D on my brother's XBox 360 a couple times before his 360 gave up the ghost. He subsequently bought a PS3 instead so I never had a chance to go back and play it again. But the few times we played it together (co-op, not online), it was a lot of fun. So I read the reviews for L4D2 after I bought a new gaming PC and thought, this would be a great sequel. I'll pick it up, order two controllers, and invite my brother over to play.
Summary: The game itself is good but the characters are slightly annoying. I wish they would have just continued to use the characters from the first because I really can't stand the stupid things these characters say. If you can ignore the characters, though. It's a good game. The addition of more special infected has made it a lot more interesting and made versus mode a lot more challenging.
