InFamous 2

Game Boyz
23 June 2011
  • Excerpt: Two years after the release of the original Infamous, Sucker Punch is back with the sequel to what was a very good game. Set in a new environment, and boasting a revamped powers system, Infamous 2 plays it pretty safe and sticks to the original formula of the first.

Kazuma Kiryu and the Infinite Sadness

RPGamer
5 May 2011
  • Excerpt: Last year the Yakuza series took me by surprise . While sandbox RPGs tend not to be my thing, somehow I became very engrossed by the trials and tribulations of Yakuza poster boy, Kazuma Kiryu.

Left 4 Dead

Digital Chumps

  • Conclusion: I really wish there were move campaigns to play through, especially in versus mode. They could have added a story opposed to just using the undead as a plot from getting from point a to point b.

Left 4 Dead makes both sides of the zombie apocalypse a thrill to experience, as long as you're not alone.

GameSpot
20 November 2008
  • Summary: The zombie apocalypse. Be honest: You've thought about it. When most humans have been turned into shambling, flesh-hungry monsters, how will you fare? Whether you fancy yourself an intrepid survivor or an infected savage, Left 4 Dead is the game for you.
  • Pros: Dynamic enemy placement make each play-through different, Tight controls and well-tuned guns, Stiff challenge makes survival difficult and thrilling, Versus mode expertly turns the tables, Killing survivors is as fun as killing zombies (if not more so)
  • Cons: Campaign is less fun when played alone, Only four campaign maps

Conker: Live and Reloaded Review

AtomicGamer
14 July 2005
  • Excerpt: Rare's had a tough time over the last few years; while the creators of classics like RC Pro Am, Battletoads, Goldeneye, Killer Instinct, and Perfect Dark certainly have had their share of great games, recent duds like Starfox Adventures and Grabbed by the Ghoulies have made gamers wonder if they've...

Shadow Company: Left for Dead is a stealthy hit

GIN
7 December 1999
  • Excerpt: Shadow Company: Left for Dead is a good attempt at marrying realtime strategy gaming with actual man to man combat. When I first got the Shadow Company box, I thought UBI was going to try to piggyback on the success of one of my favorite turn-based strategy games, Jagged Alliance 2 by Sir-Tech.
