Summary: It wasn't a bad game by any standard, but it just kinda fell a little bit below my expectations. The fact that in some cases you were just pretty much framing a guy, as part of the overall mystery gave me mixed emotions.
Summary: Did not work, could not launch after installation. Amazon customer service was good enough to give me a refund. Recommend that you get it for a different platform instead, pc issues seem numerous.
Summary: There are problems getting this game to run (and then, to get it to run without lag) on PC with Windows 8.1, but they're fixable! Granted, of all the PC games I've had in the last few years, this was the most problematic to get working by far.
L.A. Noire is a boring game from a company with an amazing track record

Summary: The above is my 2 cents. Rockstar has tons of other great titles that would be better to spend your hard earned money on, like Red Dead Redemption, GTA 4 or GTA 5. Thank you for reading my review, if you have any questions feel free to email me, I would be happy to help you with any questions you...
Pros: First of all L.A. Noire is not a bad game but when their are so many other amazing games out there why buy just an ok game. I will list the positve and negatives of the game in my humble opinion to help you make your own decision. Positive: 1.) The facial recognition technology is amazing. The ga...
Cons: Negative: 1.) The game is tedious and searching for clues on your suspects faces can be pretty boring. 2.) The game does not have enough to do beyond the main missions. 3.) The game makes you basically run around in circles.
Summary: The graphics are great. The animations is amazing. The only thing I really didn't like was how short the game was. I'm not a hardcore gamer (I don't play all the time), but I pretty much finished this game in a week. Other than that, it was pretty awesome.
Summary: Game would not work at all on a new HP win 7 computer. had to research all over the web to find others had same issue and there was a downloadable update (not mentioned my the manufacturer( that would fix the problem.
Summary: Driving around the city as in GTA is great, but that gets a little tiresome after a while. Mucking about the crime scenes gathering clues is ponderous and not too much fun. My favorite games are FarCry (orig.) and the Half Life series so YMMV.
Pros: Nice graphics, good stories.
Cons: Firefights are pathetic. Fistfights are little better.
Summary: I heard from my friends this game is very good. then i bought internet download version. i downloaded and installed without any problems. when i clicked to Launch Game button , there was a dll file missing warning. when i searched it , its an usual video game problems.
Summary: I really enjoy this game. it's got a nice mix of elements: questioning a suspect, chasing a bad guy -- by foot or by car, shoot outs, fist fights, clues and deductions) The main problem is that the game is SUPER buggy. It has crashed multiple times while playing.
Pros: Incredible graphics (for the the people) and great dialog and voice acting. It's like watching/playing an old detective tv show.
Cons: Buggy, buggy, buggy! Game saves happen at fixed points and overwrite previous saves.
Summary: I ran into all kinds of problems when trying to run LA Noire. I looked all over the internet for a solution but nothing worked... until I realized something. When I started LANoire (after installing the mandatory patch and having the game not work) I went to the LANLauncher -> Options -> Renderer.
