Don't buy after 1-Jan-2015 Just another EA game that wont work with the new Origin Installer
4 January 2015
Summary: I bought this game in December 2014 so its older. Unfortunately this is one of the older titles that wont work with the new Origin Installer. The game will not install on my system with the new installer. The game seems to be installed on my hard drive, there is a 7.65 GB directory containing the game on my hard drive and its in my registry, however the Origin Installer tells me it's not installed and wants me to download it and install it again which also doesn't work.
Summary: Game is Okay, but you are required to do all sorts of online crap with Electronic Arts and install this "Origin" crap just to play the game you paid for. Origin is basically software on your computer that launches pop up ads, even when you're not in a browser, to buy EA's games. I can't believe they MADE ME INSTALL THIS ADWARE to play a game I spent money to purchase. Repeat, this is not some free to play junk where the price you pay is some piece of spayware/adware.
Summary: Run-of-the-mill, very derivative game with better-than-average graphics and terrible combat capabilities. This is what happens when people buy so-so tools, never learn how to use them, and then ruch a product to market. Trust me, I've been in the software business for 40 years! The overarching problem that can't be ignores is the camera angle. During any combat, you loose complete control of the scene, you can't see what you are attacking (or what's attacking you!
Summary: I downloaded this game and played it. Good game and was fun, but there is some sort of problem with the manufacturing company that will not allow you to redownload and reinstall. I had to reformat my computer and cannot get the game to work at all.
Summary: This seemed like a fun game. When I got it I found that one had to create an account at Origin. Hmmmm ... I have a disk, what does Origin have to do with anything? OK... onward ... After downloading the Origin bloatware the game finally started loading. Problem .. DX something or other. Check out the interwebs. Someone had the same prob, solution is a reboot and a clean installation. OK. Same thing again. Two strikes and you're out. Game doesn't work, back to Amazon.
Forces EA login even though it is Steam not Origin.
Albatross Necklace, Amazon

Summary: You have to connect to EA servers to play single player. It appears that EA's draconian "screw the consumer" system also does something to the so my wife cannot watch Netflix on the TV if I'm playing this on the computer. If I would have known about EA's hose the consumer feature I would not have purchased this. Seriously, a 40Mb connection quits working for anyone else on the network, if I want to play this single player..
Summary: First, I had trouble downloading, Origin client would not recognize activation key. Went to EA site and chat help completed the download for me. HOWEVER, Dead Kel quests do not show up in game - no recruitment letter in my inventory and going back to game starting point (as advised in old post by game devs) does not cause quest line to pop up. Looking through other reviews, I see I am not the only one to experience this problem. $10 wasted.
Summary: DO NOT FORCE ORIGIN ON US... I am tempted to call it a loss, delete the game and Origin and wait for a Steam sale..... This is total bull.... Shame on you Amazon, had I known I would have never purchased it. I don't think I will be downloading ANYMORE games from you guys again..
Summary: I really liked the game and I guess that's the main reason why I didn't pay too much attention to the odd bug or two.. The problem is that one or two bugs turned into three, four and five. In the end, I had to scrap two high level characters simply because they couldn't be played anymore.
