Not great, but worth $10, for fans of 3rd person RPGs
2 weeks ago
Summary: I got this game on sale for $10ish, so it's a great deal whether or not I'm all that psyched about it, and for people looking for another game similar to Fable, Dragon Age, or Skyrim, and you don't want to spend a lot, KoA; Reckoning might satisfy your fix, though I think it falls short of what makes those games so great. Well, I guess I should get to my critique.
Summary: Very engaging story. I wish it had some more personal interactions between characters, but otherwise a lot of fun. My 2nd favorite game to Dragon Age: Origins. More open area to roam tha DA:O, but similar quests and interactions (No romance).
Summary: I enjoyed playing it the first time, but doesn't have much replay value. I restarted the game 2 or 3 times, but just couldn't get back into it. It's worth playing, but you'll only play it once.
Summary: I found this game quite a bit of fun. The graphics are good and the fighting sequences are pretty fluid with an adequate amount of variances. The story line was interesting with just the Fae being a bit too esoteric. Completely worth the money.
Summary: I love this game, it's definately better than Skyrim in my opinion. You have a lot more fun because the fighting is so much better. You can actually tell the difference between when you use a sword and when you use a hammer or axe.
Very Very Long and a Little Tedious, But Potentially a Good Value

Summary: I just finished playing this game and while I enjoyed it overall, I can give you some pretty good insight into the good and the bad of it: 1. The graphics are nice but a little too cartoonish for my personal tastes 2. The music is good, sets the mood very nicely in a given area or for a scene 3. Creatures jumping out creates a startle and a sense that anything can happen. Even near the end it still can give you a bit of a jump. 4.
Summary: Very good game for RPG fans. Not on the level of a Skyrim type of RPG, but very good. Storyline isn't the best i've seen, but it doesn't leave you bored either. A good amount of sidequest, and different skill trees, give you a good amount of playtime if you don't want to rush through. The action type is more action based, think Fable/Dragon Age type of fighting.
