Summary: Had a lot of fun with this one. Great music, and I loved the crisp UI and colorful world graphics. Tried a couple of the sequels, but had a hard time getting into them since they are basically the same thing on a new map with other minor changes.
Summary: For the price ($5), it is unbeatable. The Amazon direct download link is pretty fast, it takes me less than 2 hours to download the game. The game was installed on my Win 7 Ultimate and has no single issue. If you like HOMM, you may probably like this game.
Summary: The gameplay itself was pretty fun. The storyline is fun and I definitely had a good time spending several hours on the game. If you want a simple and fun enough game to play this isn't a bad choice. I got the platinum edition when it was on sale for 5 bucks and for that price it was awesome.
Summary: Right now Dec 2011 the King's Bounty collection is IMO the best buy for people that got excited about Heroes: Might and Magic 6, but got turned off by the DRM or the lower reviews, or the price and want something to tie them over. The game is very very similar to the Heroes M&M games.
Summary: Good replay value, very addictive, very fun to play! It is very tactically based turn based strategy mixed with a good storyline. Lots of areas to explore and many challenging enemies keeps the game interesting.
Summary: The game is great and you can read detailed reviews on the retail version product page. This download creates two separate game folders and icons for each of the games. The original game, "King's Bounty: The Legend" does not require activation.
Summary: My son had been after this game for awhile and was looking forward to it for Christmas, although he was able to load the game his resident virus checker (Avast) came up with a 'malware' warning which could not be removed- not something we were expecting from a purchased boxed disc game.
