Summary: Great for wasting time blowing away mutants. I thoroughly enjoy this game, graphics are great, voice acting is pretty good and the maps are fun. I love the added aspect of improving your character throughout the levels.
Summary: I bought killing floor from steam over a year ago, but I just started playing it. This game is a blast. I've played left 4 dead 1 & 2 alot and I think this game is just as fun, just not as pretty. Killing floor plays quite a bit different then l4d. There is actually alot more to it as far as leveling up and choice of weapons. If you do not play multiplayer then do not buy this game. It is not meant to be a single player game. There is no story, just action.
Summary: This is a fun, easy to get into game. Action packed. Don't have to commit a lot of time to it to have fun with it, but the level up system encourages and rewards long term play. It is a bit buggy, but not prone to crashing or real badness, just assorted clipping issues and monsters getting stuck in doorways and such. I tend to buy games impulsively and be dissatisfied with them, I though this one was a long shot, but it's a solid winner.
Summary: Killing Floor grew from the UT2004 TC-mod of the same name, but it's been matured and released as a right-priced retail product. I enjoy it since it's a co-op game with more options then the very-linear flow of similar games like L4D. Unfortunately some of the other reviewers seemed to have issues finding cooperative players, however I've never had an issue doing so.
Summary: Killing Floor is actually a mod for Unreal Tournament 2004 back in the day. Tripwire Interactive took Killing Floor and polished it up A LOT and sold it for retail (They did this to their first game too- RED ORCHESTRA). It's very, very different from L4D and really can't be compared. L4D you rush though to safe rooms. The zombies are faster, but easier to kill. Teamwork is integrated MUCH more.
