Summary: The game is not terrible. There is an addictiveness to the "tequila time" feature. Also the game physics are pretty good. However the one major problem I have with this game is that the first "boss" you have to beat to finish a level is almost unbeatable! It took me dozens of tries and I was bout to give up and then I made it. The rest of the game is relatively smooth sailing. There are difficult parts but you have power ups, and better weapons by that point.
Re:A Blatant Max Payne Rip Off, in every sense of the word

Summary: When I first got into gaming, one of the first games I got into was Max Payne-it was really cool how you could slow down the action, and take out a bunch of thugs without worry. In this game, you can do the same thing, however instead of Bullet time as in Max Payne, in this game, it's called Tequila Time.
Summary: I am a hardcore violence loving gamer. When I saw this I was hesitant to buy it, I'm glad I did. It brings a new meaning to the word "action" with totally destroyable enviornments and stylish killing sequences. To put it simply, if you liked Darksector, you'll love Stranglehold. The Unreal Engine shines and always delivers. My system is more than adequate but even a mid-ranged system would handle this game on rather high settings. BUY, BUY, BUY!
Summary: Stranglehold for your PC is an action videogame that takes you into a John Woo movie. It is fast paced with great graphics and gun play. The problem is that the game is fairly linear and short. After about 4-6 hours you will be done. If you have a great video card you can crank up the graphics and have a fun thrill ride but you can't use your xbox 360 controller and nor would you want to. The graphics get a 4 out 5 and the A.I.
Summary: This game is full of action, almost too much at some times! There is definetely a challenge no matter which difficulty is selected. Swarm after swarm of enemies come with guns blazing, firing everything at your character. No worries here though, just swing from a hanging light and take out the bad guys in a stylish slow-mo "Tequila Time".
Summary: One star is being kind. I did not realize until it was too late that this is a port of a console game, and it shows. This is a mindless arcade game, and nothing more. The controls (more precisely, the lack thereof) are ludicrous. If you think this is going to keep your Max Payne jones under control for more than 30 seconds, you're wrong.
