Summary: My son really likes John Deere and we bought this for Christmas. He loves playing this game and it never seems to go outdated. The graphics are nice and he gets to drive all sorts of vehicles. I feel it was well worth what we paid for it.
Summary: I bought this for my 5 year old to play, he loves John Deere. Unfortunately the game is a little hard to do, in order to maneuver the tractors you have to use the keyboard letter "w", "s", "a", "d" and not the arrow keys like you would think. Its confusing for a child. The graphics are a little dated, but for the price, its not too bad.
Summary: I remember playing this game as a child, and I thought of trying it out again. Of course, I lost the original game over the years, so I bought this one, and everything is as I remember. It is just a simple farming game. The concept is pretty realistic. You have your jobs and all you basically do is go up and down the fields all day, which is what you do in reality. If you are expecting some action type game or an interesting simulator, this is not the game for you.
Summary: We first bought this game from a big box store and thought it was entertaining. Our 5 year old son, however, absolutely loved it! When we got a new computer we couldn't find the disc to install it and he was crushed! So, we had to buy it again, but it is well worth the buy. It provides hours of fun for him and he can play it easily by himself as it's not difficult to play at all. It's a very basic look at farming with many different activities and jobs to accomplish.
Summary: Serious gamers would say it's an old folks game. I have it to pass the time when I'm home. If you farm for a living, you understand, Plus, I have a 360 controller for my laptop, so easier to control. Just a fun "game".
