Summary: Let me just be basic. Here's the bad points of the game: 1.Too few missions. 2.Too Boring Missions. 3.Not complicated enough. You own 4 or 5 fields and a forest. You can plant five crops. Each crop has its own field. You start out with the crops planted. You can harvest them and plant more, which gets boring. Ill talk about the forest in the good part, because the forest is why this game got a 3. 4.Unrealistic.
Summary: Well, I got this for my JD-obsessed, former-farmer husband who is finally learning to use a computer. First off, he said that his computer came with a demo mode of this game, and he didn't care much for it. Who knew? He never mentioned it, and I was happy to find a JD game. I liked the looks of the graphics. So, he installed the game anyway and gave it a shot. It works better on Win7 than Vista or XP. I do agree that the first several levels are boring as all get out.
Summary: I enjoyed the game okay, just wished it had some instructions with. The game says it will do some things that I have never been able to find or figure out, there is also one area that having some help/instruction would be great!!! Overall the game is okay, wish there were more levels or more challenges, would make the game more interesting.
Summary: I have been waiting for a farming game in first person view for a while now. Drive Green is a great game but anyone can start to point out the areas for improvement immediately. The biggest things I was disappointed with were the keyboard controls and the virtual tractor feels and drives nothing like a tractor. Other than that it is an easy and enjoyable game to play for all ages and I will continue to play it until the sequel.
