Summary: I love this game way better than the first ones. The time limit/swap limit at least can be added to after a few tries. The first ones I could never get through higher levels and were way too frustrating. The swap mode really doesn't need a timer, that is working against two things, the clock and the limit of swaps. I do like the puzzle piece thing, made it more interesting.
Summary: This game is unfair and based too much on luck. Until the developers include an untimed mode I will buy no more of these JQ games. To win certain levels, the player needs to restart the level 100's of times until a winnable initial board lines up by sheer luck. Skip this one.
Summary: This is a nicely done game. You are playing match 3 puzzles in an attempt to restore your family tree. Each person represents a series of puzzles with a particular style. As you complete each timed level, you are given bonus points at the end and a puzzle piece. The puzzle pieces complete the pictures of the people within your family tree. So far the difficulty hasn't been too bad, though I did have to redo one level again.
Summary: I was a little disappointed with this game - I had been playing Jewel Quest Mysteries and they are awesome -- I am a hog fan, but this game surely must have a purpose if only to let me practice the chain gangs. Mine came with Jewel Quest Solitaire and I like that much better. There should be a way Jewel Quest makers can let us know if indeed there is anything but the same old stuff.
Summary: A long time ago, I peered over the shoulder of a clerk and innocently asked, "What are you playing?" Thus began my addiction to casual games, and I still believe JQ is the king of match-3. There's some familiar and new twists to this new game. Quite frankly I didn't pay much attention to the story, which I agree was dull. But the games are good, increasing in difficulty, and I believe this will satisfy any JQ fan.
Summary: I enjoy Jewel Quest, especially Jewel Quest I and III, but Number II frustrates me, and I quit playing it. Now Jewel Quest 4 has intrigued me and I enjoy the game immensely. Really makes me think when I'm playing. I haven't been able to get Jewel Quest III because it's only available in French which I don't speak, or in trial versions on line. Oh well, maybe someday.
