For fans of dark JRPG's
9 August 2014
Summary: Nier is not the most complex or deep JRPG out there but I found it to be a fun hack n slash. You'll spend most of the game gathering materials for quests and weapon upgrades. It is is a bit grindy at times since you revisit areas often. I like the characters and story. Voice acting is good. Music is amazing. Graphics are decent. I would recommend Nier to anyone who likes JRPG's and wants something a little different, a little darker.
Summary: Thoroughly enjoyed this game! While not the longest game by any means, it has an engaging story that really pulls you into the game. +Engaging Story +Multiple endings, each playthrough you get more information, and the final ending.... does something no other game does. (Might want to look up what each ending does, it will give you a choice to choose the last couple playthroughs and one is irreversable) +Action based, you are constantly getting better at this game,...
Summary: Nier is a good adventure action game like i said to pass time. I really do just that with this game at night. It starts off slow with alot of going back and forth to his daughter and the library to talk with some other girl. Then you set foot out of the town into some area. the creatures you first encounter are the same creatures that you will see the rest of the game. they only change up alittle by wearing armor of they get taller.
One of the better stories ever told via video game
Requiem "YDR", Amazon

Summary: I struggle to give this game an accurate overall rating, because it's very difficult. The story is the best I have ever experienced in Video games, bar none. Better than any Final Fantasy, even better than my old personal favorite, Silent Hill 2. I will not spoil anything, but I simply can not give the story enough praise!
Summary: This game could have been better, but it's still a fun game with great graphics if you have a decent PC to crank it up to ultra-high + DX10. Being a fan of the film helps too, and just like the film, the star of this game is Pandora. The devs really spent some time on her and you can tell. Mediocre story which felt rushed and forced, cutscenes were there for the sake of being there. Combat is great however, especially as a Na'vi.
Completely unique game that captures you from the start
Tomb Fleader, Amazon

Summary: From the moment you start the game you can tell something bad is going to happen. This story captures you from the moment you pick up the controller to the moment you put it down. As always my reviews are separated into 3 categories. Story, Gameplay, and Characters with more weight to story. Story: 8.5/10 Man this story just grabs you and doesn't let go. You start as a man/mercenary that is trying to find a cure for his sick daughter.
Summary: I don't believe that this game received enough credit from the critics and mainstream reviews. I was tetering on the edge of not purchasing NIER but the price was reasonable and there aren't too terribly many RPG's available for the PS3. I wasn't expecting a fantasy, RPG game of the caliber of the Final Fantasy franchise, but I have some faith in Square Enix. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by NIER.
Summary: Its too bad this game got such bad press because of the DRM,the game play is sound and fun.The graphics and surround sound are superb on PC.I gave it 4 stars for the flight model and the fact there is no built in joystick functionally. There is also,no multi player with this game even though it says there is,probably due to the fact it sold so poorly...but still...good game.
