Avoid unless you are a hard-core Bond fan

DJ_King_SD, Amazon
17 May 2014
  • Summary: This game was out in 2008 and it's pretty clear it's dated once you play it. The graphics are very pixelated and the voice acting is subpar. There is no caption so it can be difficult to follow the dialog if you have the volume turned down.

mommacat58, Amazon
29 November 2013
  • Summary: The game does not support the xbox controller. I did manage to get it working by using xpadder but that took me over an hour.. Come on this is just not good enough

rolo "rolo", Amazon
6 September 2013
  • Summary: The game doesn't have the code to play it well, the good thing is that the people of amazon gave me the price as a shopping discount in my next buy so that made me happy

Not up to par, stick with old 007 games

curlyclay24, Ebay
2 November 2012
  • Summary: If you are a true Bond fan you will be disappointed. As a first/third person shooter you might enjoy this, but it is far from a true 007 game. There are almost no cut scenes, It never mentions Q or really shows MI6 or M.

This is it?

Juan, Amazon
16 September 2012
  • Summary: Maybe I had too high of expectations for this game. I really wanted it to be fun and for the first mission it was. I could sneak around, take out enemies either while targeting them or shooting blindly. I could.... no that's about all I could do.

Too many problems to be worth it

Usher, Amazon
20 November 2011
  • Summary: I haven't played a Bond game since Nightfire, which, in spite of its problems, was a decent game, though hardly a standout. I had hoped that in the intervening years, the Bond series might have come up with better gameplay. Which it did, sort of. The cover system is interesting.

watch out

adw, Amazon
2 February 2010
  • Summary: If you are running XP and Explorer, be aware that you could have serious issues and no fixes have been made available as of Feb 2010. Only option seems to be to uninstall explorer completely and use another browser, at least until you complete the game. Activision confirms this.

No real gameplay; more an interactive movie

D. Discs "music industry professional", Amazon
6 June 2009
  • Summary: The advertorial review is promising: a cover system, stealth, intelligent AI. The reality is that this is less of a game than it is an interactive movie. After the tutorial, the very first game mission demands that the player chase a fleeing enemy and catch him with all haste.
