Summary: Played this when it first came out and got <1 hr into the game having cleared the first airport. Gave up in dissappointment and I remember at the time I moved onto a host of other brilliant and amazing games at the time.
Summary: Yes, it is a little different from previous JA games, but aren't improvements supposed to be better? This has a real tactical feel as far as timing is concerned. In no other game have I ever had to consider my gun speed. When your merc fires, there is this tiny second ticker that displays...
Summary: If you like a detail oriented strategy game with a myriad of outcomes in each battle then you will love this game. I spent 493 hours over a period of 4 months totally absorbed in it. It may be too tedious for some people unless you enjoy micro managing your combatants.
Summary: So you're reading this trying to get a feel of what the game will be like? Well, I'm here to tell you that it is absolutely worth it. At release, the game was far from finished but as of right now, the latest patch has fixed many of the silly things that should have never been a problem in the first...
Summary: I have played all of the previous Jagged Alliance games and I loved them, it was so much fun to guide your squads and kill all the enemies. I thought I liked turn based better than the real time variety (which I had played in x-com apocalypse and disliked). This game changed my mind completely.
Summary: NOW READ THIS--the game DOES have faults, it is by no means perfect--but I've played FAR bigger budget games that had far less attention to detail in the environments and gameplay, and most of all--this game is FUN!!!!
Summary: Although not strictly turn-based or isometric this sticks closely to the ideas of the release way back in the 90s and rocks. Quite a few flaws but more than made up for by the unusual and fun gameplay.
