Summary: Too expensive. Firstly you have a subscription which isn't too bad at first, only $15 for 3 months. However after your sub is up you better be prepared double that because making a new account will just mean starting all over again. If it was just a subscription then I wouldn't have a problem with any of this, however for that sub you get next to no content, you'll have to pay $10-15 Too expensive.
Summary: Simply no comparison, by far the closest to racing that you can get, only limitations will be yourself and your equipment. Remember this isn't your console controller based racing sim. Be warned, this is a racing environment that is taken very seriously. Almost all of the racers that you will encounter have hundreds if not thousands invested in the racing simulator itself.
Summary: i Racing claims quite a lot. Some claim that graphics is not up the level of what is a standard these days, however there are much more serious issues with the simmulator. Graphics: Highly sufficient for the purpose, no need for improvement, however competition will force natural improvements over time... Organization / registration / admin/profile/payment i Racing claims quite a lot.
Summary: Excellent sim -- simply the best out there. The amount of work that has gone into making iRacing a realistic experience is truly astounding. I've been a racing sim devotee for 20 years and iRacing is top of the pile. The subscription fee is actually pretty reasonable, as are the prices for cars and tracks. The Safety Rating system is about as good as you can expect, and thankfully keeps Excellent sim -- simply the best out there.
Summary: One of the best sim racing games out there, hands down the best race organization so you'll always have something to race any time you log in, however it comes at a price, in my opinion too high, I would even call it price gouging. They know their competition is failing to provide the organization that is required to have a proper racing atmosphere and so they charge what they like about One of the best sim racing games out there, hands down the best race organization so...
Summary: Absolutely, 100%, hands-down the single best simulation racing title that has ever existed. It is extremely challenging to adapt to, especially if you are new to sim racing. But the robust online community allows adapting to the game seamless. People are always right there to help in practice sessions or in the forums.
Summary: This sim is quite expensive, so you should focus on one class rather than buying all cars - well if you have the money why not, sometimes you really have to try everything ! And this sim is so close to perfection, you really want to try each car and track. Overall, iracing is the most fun i ever had on a racing game and of course with wheel and pedals, it feels like the real deal !
Summary: iRacing claims to be the best racing sim out there. It surely has plenty of tracks and cars. However, there are many things about iRacing that are not so great. The game is setup with a subscription service. Already it's annoying because it does not fit the subscription based game format. iRacing isn't an MMO nor is it exclusevly online. So really a subscription is going to make the player iRacing claims to be the best racing sim out there.
Summary: By far, the best racing simulator I've ever "played". Not only the physics, car response and tracks are brilliantly simulated, but everything that involves competition (points system, race splitting, safety rating...) really works, and make you feel close to real live racing. It costs quite a lot of money (note I'm not saying expensive) but it is worth it. They are improving it all the By far, the best racing simulator I've ever "played".
