  • Excerpt: LucasArts has finally shown a little love to their "other" big movie franchise. Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb doesn't push any limits, and it could be more fun to play, but the classic storyline and solid construction make it more than worth a run-through for anyone partial to our fave anthropology professor. • Summary: It hasn’t been that long since that familiar whip and fedora hat appeared last on the PC. While you’re waiting for the fourth installment of the movie to be made, you can satisfy your Jones craving with the latest from LucasArts, is an third person action adventure game not unlike . But we all know who was the first to hunt those archeological artifacts. Anyways, is a port of the Xbox game to the PC.

Indiana Jones and the Emperors Tomb

  • Excerpt: I like watching old movies, and recently I spent a couple of hours watching Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark. It amazes me how such an old movie can be more entertaining than many of today’s current movies. Indiana just has so much charisma and attitude! Obviously, the Indy franchise had to be expanded to computer games. Those who’d seen the movie just had to get the games as well.

  • Summary: When Tomb Raider first hit the scene back in 1996, it was easy to describe the game's premise as an Indiana Jones movie with a female lead. Lara Croft spent the next several years cornering the market on the video game version of action archeology, and even though the comparisons to Harrison Ford's big-screen character never really stopped completely, it took LucasArts four years to strike back with Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine--a flawed game for the PC and the...

  • Excerpt: Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb is not the first Indiana Jones game, but it is probably the first to stand out as a decent homage to the original and often imitated grave-robbing swashbuckler.
