  • Excerpt: Graphics & Sound: Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb is a Tomb Raider -style 3rd person perspective action adventure that features rich graphics and good sound effects. The game takes place in a number of locales, and they are all rendered very nicely. Texture quality of environments is not as good as most modern first person shooters, but character models look great, and overall the presentation is excellent.

  • Excerpt: Good old Indy is back at it, this time on the PS2. Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb is a great action title for fans of the Indiana Jones mythology, but not necessarily as great for fans of innovative, invigorating action games. Too bad. Click for more.

  • Excerpt: LucasArts has finally shown a little love to their "other" big movie franchise. Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb doesn't push any limits, and it could be more fun to play, but the classic storyline and solid construction make it more than worth a run-through for anyone partial to our fave anthropology professor. Indiana Jones and the Emperors Tomb

GamersHell.com

  • Excerpt: I like watching old movies, and recently I spent a couple of hours watching Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark. It amazes me how such an old movie can be more entertaining than many of today’s current movies. Indiana just has so much charisma and attitude! Obviously, the Indy franchise had to be expanded to computer games. Those who’d seen the movie just had to get the games as well.

  • Excerpt: Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb is not the first Indiana Jones game, but it is probably the first to stand out as a decent homage to the original and often imitated grave-robbing swashbuckler.

Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb – Review

GameCritics.com

  • Excerpt: Seeing Raiders Of The Lost Ark in a theater in 1981 was a seminal moment for me. I was 12 at the time, still two years away from kissing a girl, three years away from learning how to drive, and desperately trying to figure out How To Be A Man. My father, with his tendency to focus on my inadequacies, wasn't much help, but Indiana Jones—this swashbuckler, this cad, this charming rogue—was.

Indiana Jones And The Emperor's Tomb

Empire Online
16 February 2001
  • Summary: Gamers impatient for Indy’s fourth cinema adventure (due in cinemas on July 4, 2005, so they tell us) can get their whip-crackin’ kicks in the good doctor’s Xbox debut, as the chisel-chinned charmer chases dusty relics across the globe while being pestered by Nazis, Chinese gangsters and a virtual menagerie of hostile wildlife.
