Impossible Creatures

T. Findlay, Amazon
31 March 2007
  • Summary: Firstly, this game is RAD! It is so AWESOME that you can design your own armies! The campaign stinks. It is too hard to beat the THIRD LEVEL! It also is not very good because you can not get more buildings than in the DEMO!

Imaginative idea, fun to play

GHV, Amazon
6 August 2006
  • Summary: This game boasts something that no other RTS can offer- mixing two different animal species into one amazing creature and then sending them to wage war against other freakish armies. There are so many different animal combinations that every battle is different and new.

Impossible Creatures

Amazon
27 March 2004
  • Summary: This is an extremely easy, but fun game. Even though it is pretty easy, you can play the same mission over and over again. I beat the game on the hardest level about twenty times and didn't get bored. You can combine two animals together for a invinvible mutant army.

Stellar idea, somewhat flawed execution

Robert Huffstedtler, Amazon
24 September 2003
  • Summary: Strategy games, both real-time and turn-based, are my preferred genre of computer games. Sadly, there hasn't been much innovation in them since Starcraft added asymmetrical armies (i.e. each unit does not have a direct corresponding unit for another race). This game changes all of that.

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly...

"cpugh16", Amazon
14 August 2003
  • Summary: Im gonna put this like my title: The Good: You design your own army. You can make units to fit your personal playing style. This is the only reason I bought the game and the only reason its fun. A long engrossing campaign allows you to stay playing single player for quite some time.

GOOD GAME

Oliver Blaylock, Amazon
13 January 2003
  • Summary: Well to start off this game isnt the best game I have ever played in my life, but it is a really good game. One of the bad things about it is that it seems to me like it is just too much like starcraft. Instead of Vespene Gas and Minerals you have to mine Coal and Electricity.

Four and a half stars actually.

Amazon
2 January 2003
  • Summary: This is, by far, one of the most creative games out there. It is also an excellent game as far as I can see with the demo. However, a game must be superb, extend beyond all expectations, and step into new realms from all angles in order to achieve a five star rating.

Frankenstein Lovers Unite!!

Sarah, Amazon
1 July 2002
  • Summary: Although I have not actually played this game yet, from what I have heard it is a very wierd, but fun, game. It's basically a re-run of Frankenstein. Your this looney-tuney scientist named Rex Chance, and you must use your resources(gas, coal, DNA, etc.

Amazon Customer, Amazon
2 October 2006
  • Summary: I have been playing this game since it came out, designing new and cool creatures after a while though the limited creatures the game came with were starting to ge annoying, i then found mods for the game which give you vast amounts of new creatures..... so the playability continues....
