Summary: This is a great game in theory but it's very difficult to catch onto. It's more fun now that I've picked up on certain important details but a month later, I'm still trying to figure things out.
Summary: Despite some other reviews that complained of slowness etc, I have always had a fascination with Ancient Egypt, and I recently have really enjoyed playing Sim City. When I saw an advertisement for this it drew my attention, and even though I saw the slightly negative reviews I thought I'd have to...
Summary: Since I am still attempting to learn all of the Sim's subtleties, perhaps my final judgment should wait for another day. But.... Of course the graphic quality is superb for a 2004 Sim, and it does require a Nvidia 7600GT level card or better to play.
Summary: Wow are you in for a great game. This has every tine thing you could need for building Egypt. Different challenges and levels to choose from. You can zoom in and see the people going through their day up close. Zoom out and build the civilization You can even trade with other countries in Africa.
Summary: I was a huge fan of the Pharoah/Cleopatra game. I enjoy these types of building/managing games far more than other types of video games. This one is great for people who liked Pharoah, and is even better since you can turn objects at angles, and individual buildings do not all require road access.
Conclusion: This is without a doubt the best city builder available. OR perhaps society builder would be more accurate as the importance of the social interactions between the nobility and those dam peasants is quite important here.
