7 February 2015
  • Summary: Fun but becomes repetitive and some of the aspects aren't too well thought out (like the god dedications).

Great Game But Difficult To Learn

MCS, Amazon
12 December 2012
  • Summary: This is a great game in theory but it's very difficult to catch onto. It's more fun now that I've picked up on certain important details but a month later, I'm still trying to figure things out.

R. Stephen Franks, Amazon
28 November 2011

Nice follow-up after Pharoah/Cleopatra

Savvy Skeptic, Amazon
28 November 2010
  • Summary: I was a huge fan of the Pharoah/Cleopatra game. I enjoy these types of building/managing games far more than other types of video games. This one is great for people who liked Pharoah, and is even better since you can turn objects at angles, and individual buildings do not all require road access.

DarthTanner, Play.com
20 January 2007
  • Conclusion: This is without a doubt the best city builder available. OR perhaps society builder would be more accurate as the importance of the social interactions between the nobility and those dam peasants is quite important here.
