Very underwhelmed....

  • Summary: From what I read I thought it was going to be like an updated version of Pharaoh or Cleopatra...No. Sadly, it has some interesting things about it but gameplay is mind numbingly slow. No option to speed up past the boring building parts. As a frequent player of city building sims, I say give this one a miss.

Slow and confusing

  • Summary: I purchased this because I was looking for an Egyptian version of the ROME simulation game. I have to say that I was bored most of the time. It's incredibly slow moving and not really worth the effort. If you have a LOT of time and don't mind waiting forever for something to be achieved you may like this. I'm afraid I don't have near infinite patience.

Not my cup of tea

  • Summary: Okay..... I'm gonna be a bit controversial here. I was wild on Pharaoh when it came out, and later on Emperor; so when I saw this I bought it immediately. I tried for a week to get in to the game but I just found it very very cold. I'm sure its historically more accurate and all that, but I found the 3D cumbersome and it just was not fun for me to play with. Others may enjoy it, but I say borrow the game off someone before you decide to buy.
