Summary: I like the way you must go through an adventure to learn the game and even though I have been playing chess for a long time I was still able to improve my game through the repeated use of this software.
Summary: Got this game to re-learn chess only been playing it a few days, surprised by how much i didnt know before. I think they could have gone a long way to make this game better, but as a simple chess learning game and for the price i dont see anything out there even close.
Summary: Really nice game. My 9 y/o gifted Son is having a great time with it, however it is too difficult for my younger (nearly 8 y/o) son. Lots of great critical thinking and fun in adventure mode. My Husband really enjoys playing this with his boys.
Summary: I purchased Majestic Chess PC game for my 11 year old son. He really likes it and plays often. The game teaches the rules and terminology of chess, as well as, the game strategy. It keeps him entertained while he learns chess. I've played a bit myself and find it to be a quality game.
Summary: After reading many reviews about various computer chess games I finally selected this one and am pleased that I did. I was looking for a game that could teach my 7 year old how to play chess, and in an interesting way. The adventures clearly did that.

Now I am much more mature and must say this game and the idea of adventures along the way make it a very fun experience. The technology used in the game is a bit dated and a bit stale.
