  • Summary: Got this game to re-learn chess only been playing it a few days, surprised by how much i didnt know before. I think they could have gone a long way to make this game better, but as a simple chess learning game and for the price i dont see anything out there even close.

A Great Game

Jim Gause, Amazon
3 June 2011
  • Summary: Majestic Chess is no hyperbole; the game is majestic; in scope and in execution. You play a knight errant, wandering the land collecting the necessary chess pieces to complete a set.

Great for ages 9 + - may require parents help.

Randy A. Cross "College Student", Amazon
26 February 2011
  • Summary: Really nice game. My 9 y/o gifted Son is having a great time with it, however it is too difficult for my younger (nearly 8 y/o) son. Lots of great critical thinking and fun in adventure mode. My Husband really enjoys playing this with his boys.

Learn Chess - Kids & Adults

Chase "Nature One", Amazon
2 January 2011
  • Summary: I purchased Majestic Chess PC game for my 11 year old son. He really likes it and plays often. The game teaches the rules and terminology of chess, as well as, the game strategy. It keeps him entertained while he learns chess. I've played a bit myself and find it to be a quality game.

  • Summary: After reading many reviews about various computer chess games I finally selected this one and am pleased that I did. I was looking for a game that could teach my 7 year old how to play chess, and in an interesting way. The adventures clearly did that.

Worth the buy

Emale, Amazon
12 October 2008
  • Summary: I played my first game of chess at the age of 14 while at a summer camp. Never really tried to sharpen my game. Now I am much more mature and must say this game and the idea of adventures along the way make it a very fun experience. The technology used in the game is a bit dated and a bit stale.

Can you help me?

Gary Koblich "Chessnut2300", Amazon
31 March 2008
  • Summary: I found the "Adventure" feature of this game simply irresistable and I took a total of about 12 hours to defeat all of the levels. It honestly was an enjoyable adventure. I saved my files and can insert them into the program files for this program, if it is installed on any computer, to allow going...

Conny Walker "Chess Mom", Amazon
31 August 2007
  • Summary: My son (10) loves this program. Every now and then it freezes up - but most of the time it works just fine. It is educational, clean and seems to be more interesting to him than regular because it is "Legos" and has interactive graphics and sound effects!
