Summary: the same thing has happened with this game as with the Dark Strokes game. I have e mailed Alawar Entertainment twice for help with thisproblem. They acknowledged the both email saying each time they would check into it & get back to me by email. I don't know what else I can as I cannot contact them by phone. Any suggestions?????
Summary: Played this game in 5 hours or so, not difficult on hardest level. It would be a great game for kids, if they get stumped just click on the hints. If you are an adult and all hidden games are on the same level as House of 1000 Doors I wouldn't recommend these types games.
Summary: There aren't really 1,000 doors, you just go in and out of the same ones over and over again. The graphics are good but the game can get kind of boring after a while. Nothing like the PopCap games.
Summary: Had the same problem with this one as I did with Dark Strokes: Sins of the Father. Would not load on computer no matter what we tried. Only loaded on the laptop. Will not buy games from this publisher again.
Summary: the game was fun. when i read the other reviews people stated it was a harder game. for this reason i bought the game. well, for myself it was very easy. i would suggest this game to young kids 8 to 14 year olds. the ending came way too fast, according to the map it showed about 10 places i havent explored yet. so i thought i had plenty of game time left, sadly i did not. i wish it had been a longer game and a bit more difficult.
Summary: This I suppose was better than most other games out there in terms of production values and animation. There were occasional 3D cut scenes and nicely rendered environments. Gameplay was on the whole ok and the pacing and flow kept you interested. Adventure component puzzles were a tad too straightforward for my liking, but did not frustrate. The game's biggest draw is that there are "mini worlds" within the main story to explore.
