Excerpt: Hitman: Contracts is fourth installment in the Hitman series which takes you into the mind of a ruthlessly efficient contract killer, showing the action and the world through the eyes of Agent 47.
Excerpt: The fourth Hitman game (titled Hitman: Blood Money) has recently hit the shelves and the words uttered by every gamers who followed the series are the same: "Is 47 truly back?". The answer is simple: "Oh he’s back, and he’ll make you smile".
Conclusion: Hitman: Blood Money is definitely worth your money. It's a game with a lot of charm and personality. It doesn't bring anything particularly new to the table, but it still has more than enough attributes to impress.
Pros: Great story and characterization, game world oozes with personality, art and level design, fun game overall;
Cons: Some mission tasks too straightforward, replay value, no important gameplay changes.
Excerpt: Killing people for money as a profession has been around for as long as there have been bakers, firemen or police men, but it’s only after IO Interactive made a fully immersive game about contract killing, did it achieve such a “OMG, being a Hitman is so cool” status.
Conclusion: Despite these issues, Hitman: Blood Money corrected many of the previous games’ faults upon release and is undoubtedly the best game in the series so far. It has aged very well over the last five years and is certainly worth experiencing for a couple of quid.
