Summary: I bought this game because it was a blast to play when i owned it (i lost it 3 years ago.) if you are one that only loves shooters like call of duty in which there is a set path and it is all run and gun, do not buy this game. if you want a tactical experience in which you need to plan your moves and actions, set up assualts and ambushes, and get a feel for what war is realy like, look no further.
Summary: Ever since I bought Hidden & Dangerous 2, I've used it as a measuring tool against other World War II shooters. And it rates better than most I've seen yet. The graphics are very well-done, with well-done uniforms, weapons, blood, and effects. With most missions in "open" 3d environments (as compared to exteremely linear games, such as EA's Medal of Honor), H&D 2 allows you room to maneouver your squad to flank the enemy, if that's your strategy.
Summary: This is an amazing game, there really isnt anything else that compares to it. It is extremly realistic in every sense. You have to think in order to sucsessfully play this game. The levels are open (non-linear). You can use stealth tactics or go in guns blazing and lose half your team. I would recommend this game to anyone who enjoys movies like "Where Eagles Dare" or Guns of Navorone.
Conclusion: I got this game in about 2004-05 when it came out, i loved it and i still play it today in 2009, best war game i have ever played! Tops off call of duty because all that is about is run and gun but this has stealth and alot more to offer like online games.. Graphics are also good but!
Conclusion: Played the original deluxe version way back must be ten years ago, loved it then . And have been playing had2 ever since (sabre squadron addon also) in fact im on my third copy , others well worn out. And i quite happily forked out 30 quid for it way back and still maintain its fantastic value for money - single player missions are great - command up to four in a squad and also lonenmissions if u prefer, but the thing that makes this game is its multiplayer maps of...
Summary: I am constantly trying to find the next best war game. H&D2 is the best single player war game Ive played. Packed with hours of gameplay. well thought out and attention to detail makes it an even better game. things like taking a hostage and stealing their uniform. scavaging corpes for ammo and weapons. the ability to give orders to the other soldiers, gives an actual feeling of military rank, something all other games have not thought to tackle.
Beautiful - Riveting, a strategy game more than a shooter

Summary: Just because you can play first person, do NOT think of this gloriously beautiful game as a shooter. If you do you'll be disappointed. It's a strategy game and almost a role playing game. You have to THINK and manage more than you have to shoot. This is absolutely NOT a game that's all about running headlong into danger with guns blazing. It's about crafting careful plans through deadly situations.
Excerpt: "...few years since the first Hidden and Dangerous game came onto the scene, this first installment was received with mixed opinions. Whilst it was revolutionary in the size and scope of the missions and the scale of the maps it had its flaws. The major flaw being of course the huge number of bugs present in the game. I am happy to report that no such problem exists in this – the second installment of Hidden and Dangerous. Hidden and Dangerous 2 sees ...
Summary: I loved H&D2, graphics are outstanding the levels are realistic and envolving gameplay is nice, there is a learning curve though. If you are looking for an alternative to Call of Duty or Medal of Honor and want a new challenge pick this game up!!!!
