  • Conclusion: It was mentioned that the multiplayer is quite buggy, but if you are playing with your friends, Heroes of Might and Magic V will still be such a wonderful experience for all of you. I am truly spellbound by the splendor of this game, hooray to Nival for bringing back Heroes of Might and Magic.

Until the film adaptations of the Lord of the Rings films came out, most fantasy game enthusiasts were content to put up with substandard graphics and presentation, just so long as the games had depth and character. 18 February 2007
  • Excerpt: In late 2004 Microsoft spent so much money marketing the upcoming release of Halo 2 that national press outlets started doing reports about it as if it were actually news. Unsurprisingly, these were generally awkward and horribly researched, as mainstream coverage about niche subjects tends to be. In one of these reports the reporter referred to the game as the 'latest version of the popular Halo game', as if it were Photoshop.

Heroes of Might and Magic V

GameTrailers
6 June 2006
  • Excerpt: With a huge fan base to support its efforts, Heroes of Might & Magic is back with a fifth installment. The turn based strategy franchise has had fans worried, with the inclusion of the third dimension and some rather interesting multiplayer aspects. But does it offer enough to keep the fans interested? Or fall short of bringing its followers the full package? If you’ve never played the first four, Heroes is a turn based strategy game, dressed in fantasy garb.
