Summary: Fantastic match-3 game, one of the best I've played. Beautiful colors and scenic backgrounds, fun animation that you can interact with as you rebuild Athens, whiz-bang power-ups all over the place. I like the fact that you have to use these power-ups to go from level to level, figuring out how to even begin the level itself as you progress. Each level's play is different, with different goals and challenges within the match-3 framework, so I was never bored.
Summary: I wish all match 3 game play could be as good as Heroes of Hellas 3.There are several things I like about this game. First, the graphics are really beautiful. Second, it progressively gets harder and each puzzle is different. Thirdly, you want to save Athens and there little people. There is also an HO game every so often that isn't searching through a pile of junk. Your looking for pieces of an object that will get rid of the evil plaguing the city.
Summary: This is my third game in the series and I am enjoying it as much as the first two. The game wants you to win, grow and build the town. The gameplay is fairly easy even on timed difficulty, the graphics are even more gorgeous than ever, and the twiddle games aren't annoying, with plenty of hints. You also have the option to skip levels if you lose and don't want to replay them.
Summary: I'm very happy with this latest release from the Heroes of Hellas people, and only have a couple of minor criticisms. The play is perhaps a little easier, especially if played with no timer, and I have noticed an occasional slowdown/stopping when a lot of explosions go off at once, probably due to my only having 1.5 Gig of memory and at least half of it going to the game!!
Summary: I'm new to this series, but I'm sure glad I tried this. The match 3 part is different from most I've played in that the wild cards (coins, bombs) will allow the player to match ONE of the items with 2 or more of the wild cards. Kind of cheaty, but I like it! What I really like are the townspeople. The player can click on any of them and get a really funny response.
