  • Summary: I liked this game a lot. It is a very simple ghost story. The graphics are interesting and clear. I did not have any trouble finding items in the HO scenes which is sort of a miracle. Everything was well lit and logical. The house is creepy and fun and even though its been done before I enjoying the jumping through the mirror aspect of the game. The hint button recharges quickly and even though there is no map feature you don't really need it.

  • Summary: The unique thing about the gameplay in Realm of Ghosts: Haunted Past is that you use a mirror to go into the past to locate items you need in the present. Then you find some place in the past to hide the items, return to the present, and retrieve the items from where you hid them. You do this throughout the game. Every room or two seems to require a trip into the past, and it was interesting to see what the room used to look like before it went all ghosty spooky.

  • Summary: Normally this is my sort of game and I'd be giving it 5 stars, but there was just something missing from this one. Two things I liked - firstly I liked the fact it did tell you when a room was clear because it is a reasonably large area to move around in and it's nice to know when you get stuck you're not wasting your time searching for something else to do.

  • Summary: I'm very happy to say this game was a pleasant surprise for me. I wasn't expecting much to be honest, but yet came away amazed at the clever story line and game play. I purchased the CE edition. PROS -Amazing graphics, held up on my large monitor. -Amazing and interesting story line, you will not be disappointed. -HOG scenes were top notch, you really had to take your time to find the items.

  • Summary: I don't have much time any more to play games (like I used to) so I just got around to finishing this cool game. I started it back in December, so after trying to take up where I left off, decided to create a new player and am glad I did that. I too thought the changing realms was cool, and although it took me a bit to figure out that I needed to hide items in one realm in order to retrieve in the other, I liked that aspect as well.

  • Summary: Even though this one was a little short for my liking, the way that one can travel from the "real" world the the "ghost realm" was definitely a groovy twist! If you like the "spooky" genre of H/O games, then you should definitely give this one a try!!

  • Summary: Finished the demo and am kind of lukewarm on the prospect of buying. Very standard adventure HOG. The twist in this one is ability to enter "ghost realm" in different locations by swooping into a mirror to the past. Inventory items collected in one realm can be hidden to find when move to the other time zone. Fun for awhile, but doesn't carry an entire game. HO scenes pretty elementary.

  • Summary: 2.5 stars. Hiding things in the Ghost Realm to use in the real world was interesting...the first time. The Ghost Realm HOGs were good because one could actually see the objects in the brighter scenes. Usually I can't wait to see what's behind the next door, but this game didn't have that kind of anticipation. It was a chore rather than an adventure.
