Summary: Haunted Manor: Queen of Death was a much better game than I was expecting. There were more HO scenes than I like, but there was interactivity and for the couple of unidentifiable items in each one, I didn’t waste much time on them and used the hint button.

Summary: In the introduction to the game you see your character, a schoolgirl, watch her mother die and shrivel up. I was immediately put off by this, which wasn't scary so much as sad. But after playing the demo I decided to buy the game anyway.
Summary: On the whole a very good game. Yes the story has been done in various permutations before but it's a plot I enjoy. Very good graphics and puzzles were sufficiently varied so not a case of "another one of those to do". World is quite large with lots to explore.
Summary: Played the CE demo and waited for what seemed like forever for the SE release which I have now been playing for several long sittings. Normally I get tired of these HO adventures after an hour or so and need a break, but this one flows so well I haven't wanted to quit.
