Summary: This game had it all. It had balance, skill, and was revolutionary. It wasn't quite as good as quake, but it was a refreshing competitor to the best PC fps. For a console game it still remains the king to this day. No other halo, battlefield, or call of duty comes close to the competitive nature this game was built with. A true arena shooter. It's a shame Bungie strayed away from this formula as the series progressed.
Summary: This is a good game, graphics are decent, love the ability to turn on or off the gory stuff. My only complaint would be the shipping, took a while to get to me and no tracking number provided.
Summary: I now own 5 copies of this game. Why? Cause now I can connect over Internet and LAN and play with my friends and family! Especially the added downloadable feature of Halo Custom Edition which allows the ability of playing user-created maps... which is totally invaluable!
Summary: PROS: IMHO, The game is one of the best games that I've played. The multi-player can be really fun, there is quite a bit of people online. & You don't need a super fast computer to play it. CONS: Could be a little cheaper. The game is still $20 even though it is outdated.
Summary: I actually bought this one for a friend. I had to replace my game a little over a week ago and made the purchase through Walmart. Got the game on time and in perfect condition! The store staff was courteous and prompt in pulling my order (a pleasant experience). This was a purchase for a friend -- WOW! Was promised that the item would be in store on 1/22/2013 ----- it arrived 1/18/2013! Ahead of schedule? How can this be? You folks are awesome! Thank you!
Summary: Long and eventful. Variety of missions to play. Exciting plot Narrow world with only one path but still a very solid game. Hundreds people on multiplayer. Variety of multiplayer maps to choose from. Overall a very good product. It is a game created in 2001 so don't expect cutting edge graphics. Still an amazing game despite its shortcomings.
Summary: Ok, it took me a few years but I finally broke down and purchased my first HALO product. HALO: Combat Evolved for the (PC). I purchased the PC version because I still haven't come up with the change to purchase an X-Box. As a FPS game, HALO: Combat Evolved (PC) is fairly exciting. The various levels of play take a repetative "dungeon/map" expieriance and ramp it up accordingly. I can now see what all the hype is about with the HALO series.
