Summary: Great game but the MAJOR problem for PC gamers is that you CANNOT program, or otherwise change the pad layout on your USB controller to work in conjunction with your mouse and/or keyboard. Total Bullsh1t. Halo 1, no problems. Halo 2, WTF happened?
Summary: hmm i got this game for my birthday and as it said on the package "windows vista only" so i guess i'll return the game no problem but i think microsoft would have been wise to make versions for other computer types as well. and if you want a good pc 1st person shooter i'd highly recomend Halflife 2 or the orange box set which comes with three games halflife 2 episode 2, Portal, and teamfortress 2.
Summary: Haven't been thrilled with Halo 2. I spent a long time trying to get the game to work with XP. Their are patches to get the game to run in XP but at this poin it is not possible to play online. So I installed this game on my Windows 7 RC machine. After starting the game about 3 times and updating it each time i found the game feels a little shaky on my Hardware. (Intel Core 2 Quad 2.66ghz, ATI RadeonHD 4850 512MB, 4gb ddr2 RAM.
Summary: VISTA! OK that's not so bad but a WEI of 5? Thats just horrible. In order to have a WEI of 5 is crazy. Without that score, the game just doesn't want to play smoothly. Make sure you have a good graphics card and CPU to play this game. The games graphics aren't even that good. Why it demands so much makes me wonder...
It was good on the Xbox, but its too late to stand on its own on the PC.

Summary: Halo 2 was good in its day. The graphics were good back then, and multiplayer was great. The story was ok, except for the clifhanger ending. Sadly it appeared this title would not be ported to the PC. Finally 3 years later it comes out on the PC. Great for people who didn't have an Xbox or prefer PC controls, right? Wrong! Three years is too long. Aside from the obvious outdated graphics (who could expect a 3 year old game to hold up against modern blockbusters?
Summary: I bought both halo 1 and 2 the day it came out. I have to say, its pretty disappointing. I mean, halo 1 was GREAT! Good story line, multiplayer mode, good controlls and etc. But on the other hand, halo 2 is just a waste of money. The grphic is pretty much the same as halo 1 (microsoft didn't even try to improve the quality of the graphics after 2 long years). Its no comparison to games like Bioshock, Crysis, Call of duty 4, and etc.
Summary: Like most console ports, this game sucks. How can you even compare crappy console games like this to FEAR, Crysys, and Half-life? The graphics look like 1999, and the game play is much the same. People who play console game must have incredibly low expectations if this type of game can sell millions of copies.
Summary: Chances are you've heard that Vista comes in two flavors, 32 bit and 64 bit. The vast majority of consumers use 32 bit Vista, while early adopters like to run 64 bit because it has a few advantages over 32 bit. If you are like most consumers, you have the 32 bit version of Vista, so this review does not apply.
Summary: I purchased Halo 2 because I liked the first Halo and wanted to see how the story goes in the second game. Halo 2's story line is good, just like the original Halo's. However, Halo 2 has some serious problems. The game runs choppy on my custom built PC even with all of the latest software and driver updates. It does not make any difference if I set the graphics to low or high (I ran the game at 1280x1024), it is still choppy.
