Summary: I've owned this game on four different PC's - every single one of them has had Crashes to Desktop enough times that it has made me put it back on the dusty shelf for several years at a time. I don't think I've ever been able to get past the opening few missions without it dying on me.
Summary: If your debating whether to buy this game then hear me out first as this review should make life a little easier. Im a huge fan of my space themed strategy games such as EVE Online, Star Wars: Empire at war etc. This game is truely stunning.
Conclusion: This game has great graphics and was a step up from the popular Homeworld series. However, there was a definite lack of scalability and you quickly find yourself reaching the limit in the number of ships you are allowed.
Summary: This game, whether like me you're a strategy game nut or a role play enthusiast is quite simply awesome. The ability to take a world, or a solar system and creat a galactic superpower is incredibly addictive.
Summary: As a fan of the Homeworld series I was eagerly awaiting a game which touted itself in a similar style. What I bought was a game which had the same amazing graphics but none of the gameplay. Haegemonia tries hard.
Summary: This is a really good game. The first thing that struck me was the quality of the graphics - They could actually trick you into thinking that what you were seeing is a computer generated FMV sequence. - The fire effects and explosions more generally actually look like explosions!
Summary: Generally very good game, it has a complex enough set of mechanics (without being overly complex as some games in the RTS / empire building genre are). The graphics are wonderfully pretty (and the explosions in battle are very good)(though all the objects are way too big - it's a strategy game not...
Summary: This is the best strategy game I've played in a while. The graphics are very pretty but if your PC isnt that good you can always put the graphics right down. It goes quite smoothly then on my P650, but the planets look pretty bad then.
