rmfii, Amazon
7 April 2014
  • Summary: I bought this game for my sons, and they love it. Best part is no recurring fees to play, like most of its competitors.

Great game

Diabolosgunner, Amazon
9 June 2013
  • Summary: This is a really great game, I gave it 4 stars due to the fact that it's not really very emersive, it's a point and click fighting system the action is done for you, aside from that I really love this game but if you intend on playing with friends I suggest using a third party program for voice chatting so you can strategize

Meh

Talorin, Amazon
9 June 2013
  • Summary: It looks alright, but other than that, nothing special. I bought 2 copies of this to play with the wife on the recommendation of a friend. After giving this game a try, I find I wasted my money. This review is long overdue as I made the purchase a few years ago and by now, this game is dead.

Fantastic

Amazon Customer, Amazon
3 June 2013
  • Summary: If only this game had come out a year or so earlier, or if it had better advertising. It is quite simply one of the best MMO games for its time. Instead of endlessly grinding for higher levels and better gear, the game focuses on learning new abilities (literally hundreds of them) and using them in interesting combinations to defeat some highly technical challenges.

Love this game--my first fighting MMO

Rachel Gardiner, Amazon
2 January 2013
  • Summary: I was nervous to start a fighting MMO but I really enjoyed this one--I have so many happy memories of hanging out with friends and doing dungeons! The holidays were always awesome too--I loved the candies! It's also cool that once you buy this, there are no more fees.

16 October 2012
  • Summary: Last time I typed /age in the chat, I got as response that I had played the game over 3500 hours on this account, this excludes the time I spent on my 2 other accounts. A game that can keep me playing and enjoying it for 5 years and over 3500 hours deserves a 10.

NCsoft; Game Killer

A.Crichton, Amazon
5 October 2012
  • Summary: NCsoft has proven itself yet again as an MMO killing machine, with the recent announcement of the closure of the popular City of Heroes franchise, they seek to sell as many games as possible and run the game for a short while before ultimately closing the servers as they have done many times in the past. They also have no interest to remain active in the Western market so any money received from us will be taken with little intent to allow us to get what we've paid for.

Trancez, Metacritic
15 May 2012
  • Summary: Guild Wars was a fantastic game that was well worth it's price. It offers more gameplay and customization than any game of it's peers. It was and forever will be a game that will be notable.

rubin, Metacritic
30 April 2012
  • Summary: So addictive it's not even funny. Has gameplay unlike any other MMO, graphics that are a rape to the eyeballs and music that you won't be able to get out of your head any time soon. It is also relatively grindfest-free due to the low level cap, which I find to be a huge plus. While the formula gets a little stale after a while and the plot is nothing to write home about, it is still the best MMO I have ever played.
