Summary: I admit I bought this game because I miss Diablo2, The greatest Online ARPG, I thought it would fill its void but I was mistaken. This game is a lot like Neverwinter Nights 2 Graphics and Gameplay wise.
Pros: Graphics are good and run well even on my Average Spec computer.
Cons: Gets Boring & Repetative quickly. The weapons and items are boring & way too linear. Online play you spend ALL of your time alone in a sea of people, unless you have a group of friends who play too.
Summary: No where near as good as the previous games. I could only play the campaign through once with getting bored and leaving the rest of my characters half way through. Its basically do this mission, run here, do this mission, run there.
Summary: Just ridiculous the amount of energy is needed to be spent to return a defective product...especially after how much money I have spent with Newegg which is a scary amount considering I'm not running a business
Pros: I'm sure its great. I own the first Guild Wars and Guild Wars: Factions and they are both great games.
Cons: My copy of Guild Wars: Nightfall did not come with the activation key required to gain acess to the Nightfall campaign. Contacted NC Soft and they pointed me back to the retailer (Newegg) and Newegg pointed me in the direction of NC Soft to handle things....NC Soft will take care of it now.
Summary: This third chapter in the Guild Wars saga has brilliant graphics, interesting story-line, and great new options including a new interaction with heroes. The game is the same as the other two chapters in that a character runs around different maps and kills things.
Summary: Elona is beautiful. While all the Guild Wars titles are designed for use in sub-par computers, the graphics are still very nice when you run them on max settings. This game would be great if there was more content.
Pros: Two new classes, a new continent to explore, new skills/armor/weapons/etc. for all classes, the new Hero System, and a new storyline.
Cons: This game is FAST. I've taken my main character and several alternate characters through all 3 campaigns. It doesn't take anything to hit the level cap and get the best gear. the PvP system is a little odd. When you win a fight, you get different kinds of Faction points to spend of various things...
Summary: I like some of the new features but for me all this should have been added in the factions release. This is to little to late as though I enjoyed guildwars when first released its now becomming far to familiar.
Summary: I got it, but i wish i hadnt right now. Its not a must have, sure the new skills and classes and heros help, but its not enough to justify the price now...
Pros: New skills, new monsters, new land, new classes
Cons: Graphics are same ol same old DirectX 8 (thats right, 8) based flat low quality. Few new musics, gameplay like it is in Factions (get to lv20 ASAP and thrown into the mix, not as intricate of a story as prophecies) not like in Prophecies (slowly level up, enjoy the story, game play is extended, w...
Summary: It does take a horse of a machine to run this product at the frustration-free level. Great goal for a novice PC builder to start off at newegg.com, as they do computer parts as well so
Pros: Cheap and affordable, cheaper than wal-mart even after shipping, at least, and also enjoyable to install. I liked how you could command henchman and heroes, as this brand new feature will surely please the Spanish speaking populous.
Cons: Same graphics as the previous installments with a different background story.
Summary: This game can't really be compared to world of warcraft. It's much more like the old-fashined RPGs and you really spend more time looking from a top down view, than a 3rd person view. If you need a short break from WOW this might work, but it probably wont keep you interested very long.
