Decent expansion for the end
6 March 2014
Summary: This expansion is the final expansion for Guild Wars 2. It unlocks the hall of momument which is needed if you want to do the achievements for Guild Wars 2. It adds more character heroes, skills, dungeons, and gear. Yes, it will mean more grind but if you are a fan of the original guild wars I'd recommend this.
Summary: The package came quite quickly and was still wrapped in the original plastic. To my surprise, the game i received was in french...:P Lucky for me, I know french. However, it should be displayed that some people might need google translate to understand the instructions. Great game and this is a must have if you are a guild wars fan.
Summary: i'm not hardcore when it comes to GW(out of the games i have in the GW series, i've only made it all the way through Prophecies) but i wanted to unlock items for GW2 so i got Eye of the North. i prob should have read more about the Hall of Monuments because i had no idea that i'd have to unlock all but one of the stations in the HoM. that wouldn't be so bad but i'm not a hardcore gamer and so far a lot of quests that i've done are pretty hard for me.
Summary: This is the first actual expansion only product for GW. To get the best out of this this game you will need to have purchased Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall. Without all 3, this expansion has issues especially when battling bosses found here. A main part of the game is hunt to kill bosses to capture elite skills, but that won't happen without the earlier 3 releases. When you try, it will tell you to purchase the older additions and have the skill blocked off.
Summary: A nice addition to the three primary campaigns. New models for new enemies (rather than just re-skinning old ones), good new skills, new titles to go chasing after if you're into that sort of thing. Overall it's a new playground for your characters, though expect the critters to be of stiffer stuff than most other areas.
Summary: First of the If your trying to buy GW EOTN its because you already beated every monster there is on GW or maybe you had every expansion since Prophecies and need more fun. Well the expansion of eye of the north includes a lot more new stuff that you can imagine, more animated scenes, more characters, more Heroes, more skills and much more monsters than before, including a bonus secret Stone from the Golems, so go out there and buy the game and start enjoying GW before...
