Summary: Before going any further, I would give the game itself 5-stars. Unfortunately, I have to lower the score to 3-stars due to Securom and installation problems. It took me nearly two days of installing/uninstalling, searching forums for error codes, and troubleshooting Securom. I'm running Windows 7 x64 and the game refused to install until I ran setup using Windows XP compatibly mode.
Summary: Game ran slightly choppy the one time I played it. Ended up getting a PS3 so I purchased it for that to play on instead. Great game though if you are able to tweak the settings to get it to run properly.
Summary: The game wouldn't open by just clicking the exe file. I had to create a user id on rockstar games and launch through that icon to get the game to play(using windows vista). Unsure if that is common. It will show it is launching from exe file, but then close. Otherwise, the game is working fine. It is making me sign on to windows live to save my game, which seems a little weird. Overall, this is a frustrating download.
Summary: It's fun, the storyline is nice and long so there are a lot of things to do, and it never gets boring. The only problem I had with it at first was the long download. The download itself took ~3 hours, but I downloaded it while I was sleeping so that was fine. Second, the lag. The lag issue is VERY annoying, but easily fixable with a few tweaks here and there. But you do have to make sure you know what you're doing..
No AA. A once poor console port, now only a mediocre port.

Summary: I just bought GTA4 for the PC two days ago, so I haven't experienced any of the initial issues or bugs like some of those that bought the game when it first came out. That can probably be attributed to the fact that there is now an official patch available and Nvidia has a driver update available (GTX 260). The game runs perfectly fine on my rig with all "high" settings at 1680x1050 resolution (E8400 3.0Ghz and EVGA GTX 260 overclocked to FTW specs).
Summary: I purchased this game because of the cheap $20 price tag, despite the negative reviews. Getting this game to work on Windows 8 is a challenge (I'm not sure how well it works on other operating systems). It requires much patience and diligence to search for solutions to specific errors that arise after the installation. However, once you are able to get the game to work, it is very enjoyable to play.
Summary: Sure this a horribly made game but if you have an above average gaming pc and get past the downloads and updates you will be baffled by the things you can do with this game. My favorite thing to do with gta is by far the police role play. Just google a mod called lcpdfr and watch some of RCMP clans videos.. Guarantee you'll give this game a chance(: **DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU HAVE LITTLE TO NO PATIENCE!
Summary: Although this is sold by a secondary seller, the product I was expecting came. Everything was intact. Only complaint I have, and this obviously isn't the sellers fault, is that the PC version has it's low sides compared to the console versions, but it is still fun for using modifications and such.
