LOVE PLAYING THIS

Mary, Amazon
20 July 2014
  • Summary: I've had so much fun with this game. Cute little story line but best part is being able to play poker when no one is available. Minor glitch as my security system won't let it play, but I just disable so game will play. I'm only a recreational player, not a gambler, but should be fun for anyone who wants to play without going on-line.

Improved my game

Anniesue, Amazon
30 March 2014
  • Summary: As a poker novice I find this game well worth the money. It has helped me to greatly improve my game. I wish, however, that the advice would carry at least through the flop, but it stops at the deal and also stops when the number of players falls below six. If the designer decides to do any updates, the biggest suggestion I have is to improve the graphics. The game is very hard on the eyes!

Great fun without losing money.

Anthony, Amazon
5 January 2014
  • Summary: Premium edition 2 is exactly that! The game offers several houses to play poker. Progressive entitlements introduced. It's a lot of fun and challenging. I have to monitor my time so I don't spend too much time playing the game and avoiding responsibilities.

In The Room

STEPHEN J MOORE, Amazon
1 November 2013
  • Summary: very good game and very realistic play. I hate the voices of the females the "give me the chips, pass them over" but otherwise I like the game; I felt like I was in the room.

Premium version of Governor of Poker 2 even better than regular version

GaryJohn178, Amazon
21 October 2013
  • Summary: I liked the regular version a lot, so I purchased the premium version because it has more cities and tournaments(parks and mines to win) thus more challenge. I play a number of texas holdem poker games including Governor of Texas tycoon on facebook. So this additional poker game was great fun for me.

Are software updates available?

Professor, Amazon
16 May 2013
  • Summary: This would be a great five-star game if it weren't for a couple of glitches in the software. Have installed this on XP pro and Vista premium, and only have sound for the first game. Consecutive games are silent. To continue playing with sound, program must be closed, and re-opened, meaning you're always playing first games. Other than that, and the trophy issue, this is a really great game. Hope they issue a software update to correct these issues.

Not enough information

Teresa Morrison, Amazon
10 April 2013
  • Summary: I enjoy playing the game, but there is no real instructions to refer back to. When you have questions there is no option to access any information. Each town is different but when you win the town there is no option to buy anything. There needs to be information about how to win certain items, like train, stagecoach, wagon, riverboat...ect.
