Summary: Granted, I only own the demo and played a few other select missions, this game offers up a real challenge in terms of gameplay and strategy for an FPS. Be warned, there will be times when either the command system or the enemy AI will make you want to kill someone, but be patient, AND BE CAREFUL, this is NOT your classic run & gun arcade shooter.
Summary: My friend and I both bought a copy of this game from J & R. When we got the games, neither one of our keys would work, so we couldn't install the game. An email to Ubisoft (and a picture of both the receipt and the UPC on the box, as well as the non-working keys, as they requested), and they emailed us working keys. So, a little bit of a headache at first, having to request working keys (but thanks to Ubisoft, for being quick and helpful!
Summary: I purchased this game several years after the initial release and this was good as all the bugs where fixed and patches where readily available. The game play is solid and holds true to the GRAW story.
Summary: It may be too short and have a bit of a let down ending when compared to the first one, but Advanced Warfighter 2 is still a very well done sequel that, even though may be missing the triumphant rising from beginning to end that the first had, is still just as awesome and fun. Overall a really good game. ...
Conclusion: Having recently completed this game, I am surprised to read of people's complaints of bugs. I didn't experience any serious bugs, other than the 'stuck soldier' syndrome, but AI is tricky to code I guess. My only complaint is that the Sqaud so often get killed, as they appear to be highly trained killers that are afriad of firing back while hitting the dirt...but maybe I'm just too cavalier with other people's lives when advancing on defended postions!
