This sequel teases us by allowing the player to fire the various team members' weapons but it's not satisfying enough for action junkies. Read more

The title of Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers refers to the Tien-Hamir Bridge, in fictional, war-torn Zekistan; the game itself, though, is also a kind of bridge in terms of genre – a strategy game which looks very much like an action shooter. Read more

Ultimately Ten Hammers doesn't build all that much on the original and is targeted at those hardcore strategists who truly enjoyed the first game. While the tactical combat is still the best around, more casual gamers hoping for a military action fix may find it too frustrating, too inconsistent and too cold for their liking. Read more

Ten Hammers is a bridge over troubled waters, right in the middle of Zekistan, a country about to tear itself apart. And guess what? You’ll be on the ground keeping the peace. Well there's a few quite annoying features, like it being fiddly and awkward to access special weapon features during a full on fire fight. Also if one of your team gets hit it's a real lead having to carry him around all over the place (they should give you the option to finish him there and then!). Plus if your team mate gets hit - you can re-start the level (which you'll probably have to do as you're slow and vulnerable carrying a wounded man) but that means going... Read more

Although while playable it is a very enjoyable game, I would recommend that people looking to play this game through the entire campaign look elsewhere. I have attempted to get customer support from the manufacturer multiple times, and have not recieved it. Although the game play is great, and the addition of new types of units assist you, as well as a good enemy AI, if you can't continue with the game without it being buggy, what's the point. I normally don't play too many games, especially on the computer, unless they are simulation or strategy. I have found that anything that can't be easily controlled with a mouse is more work than it is really worth. However, with that in mind, I saw ... Read more
