Summary: Kudos to Codemasters for making a game map that is 5,560 square miles filled with many western natural exhibits, but with size comes lack of attention to detail. It's quite obvious that only the race tracks were tended to with love and care, but the other 99.5% of the map seems randomly generated...
Summary: The selling point for this game is the massiveness of the driving area. It is an open world game so you can go anywhere. And I mean the full intention of the word world. The size has been estimated to be around the size of the state of Conneticut. That's huge!
Summary: I'm the kind of person that like's free form game with no limits & at you'r own past type. This has has it all. GIGANTIC map, i mean literally it's so big i sometimes just spend time riding around looking at the great views and places to see..and not doing any career races.
Summary: Considering that in every racing game I ever played I strayed off the course and just enjoyed driving around in the scenery, this game seems to be taylor made for me. Like other people I was not too sure about it because of all the reviews, but I sure am glad I got it.
Summary: This game has been given a bad review by so many people. I almost did not buy it. I am glad that I did. It is an imaginative racing game that reminds me of my youth when I would ride motorbikes through the Australian bush.
Summary: Works with Logitech Playstation wheel with usb on PC. In control panel, choose combined axis and set force feedback as desired. In game you can remap all controls, unlike what previous poster said. The 4way d pad I have set to change view.
Pros: Huge world to explore, awesome views, changing night/day cycles
Cons: Hard to win races against AI and unlock new vehicles.
Summary: FUEL is an off-road, arcade racing game with a HUGE free roaming area and online multi player feature. I loved Test Drive Unlimited and the open, real time driving and discovery in it, so I've been looking forward to this.
