Summary: This is a great game till you have to deal with GFWL I was almost halfway through the game then made the mistake of joining GFWL and lost everything and now the game wont even run when I log in to GFWL. It will run when not logged in but you cant save your progress which also makes it suck. Save your money and buy something that doesnt use Games for Windows - Live.
Summary: This game had such promise(so i thought), elements, like tornadoes, rain, travel anywhere as far as you like. Well, what a bore fest, first off the game does look incredible i'll give it that, but the gameplay is just boring, dull and awful. First off there are no psychics, NONE, you can't even wreck, also tornadoes do nothing, nor do trees, water etc. So bascially you race, and thats it, thats all.
Summary: I'm glad it was cheap. This arcade racing game was fun for about a half hour, and then it got boring. The graphics are ok, but not great. The game play gets old fast. The racing is ok, controls work good (Rumble pad II). It's just boring after a short time. Free mode is fine, but there's nowhere really to go except from race to race or picking up vehicles and clothes, yes clothes..... Accessorize by getting all kinds of "livery" outfits, colors and logos.
Summary: The pc version of the game does not work at all. It stopped working when windows marketplace shut down last year. So It was a complete waste of my money and when i contacted the seller about it not working they never responded back. Also when i bought it it said 1 left in stock but now it says 5 in stock. That is not possible since they stopped manufacturing the disc last year.
Summary: Graphics are incredible, racing is intense, the world is absolutely massive. This game is a great game, it's long, has a massive amount of vehicles and races. Vehicles are all dynamic and all drive differently and drive well. It is quite arcade'y which could be a good or bad thing. I happen to love it, it's not trying to be the most realistic game, but the cars still drive quite realistically.
Summary: The selling point for this game is the massiveness of the driving area. It is an open world game so you can go anywhere. And I mean the full intention of the word world. The size has been estimated to be around the size of the state of Conneticut. That's huge! The graphics aren't the best in the world but not the worse eather. This is a must have for pc gamers, and with Live support, it is a great online experience too.
Summary: My 10 1/2-year-old son says the following: "This is the best off-road virtual world racing game ever. The fun never ends. There are 75 vehicles, 190 challenges,70 career races (with 3 different expertise levels in each)." He has played many racing games.
Summary: I'm the kind of person that like's free form game with no limits & at you'r own past type. This has has it all. GIGANTIC map, i mean literally it's so big i sometimes just spend time riding around looking at the great views and places to see..and not doing any career races. The vehicles in this game are all very different and most are very fun to drive.
