Conclusion: Im a fan of the Battlefield series and as others have said there are some similarities between this game and the BF's, but they are very different games. The singleplayer IS good in Frontlines and lasts longer than the CoD4 and Halo 3 campaigns. It is also more varied and enthralling. On the hardest setting the AI can be challenging but it still doesnt take that long to complete, however the multiplayer is great.
Conclusion: The release of a 1.1.0 patch is iminent. The friends and family testers over at KAOS are testing the patch as I type. The patch should be release in about 6 days or so (all going well). This will bring the game up to spec with the bugs that got released.
Conclusion: Just finished this on single player and it was great, one of the most enjoyable games ive played for a while. Play it on hardcore and see if it is easy because it is,nt. For 8 quid you just cant go wrong. I had no problems or bugs after the 1.2 update. Highly recommended.
Conclusion: Just finished playing this game for the 3rd time - for pure gameplay FPS enjoyment factor, this game outshines COD4. I know COD4 has all the whistles and bells, but Fuel of War I found far more enjoyable. Also for a rediculous price (£7.99) it's a giveaway!
Summary: THQ has done a superb job making Frontline: Fuels of war. It was fun and enjoyable the whole way through. The story is amazing and the gameplay is excellent. If I had to compare it to any other game, I would have to say that it is a mix of Call of Duty 4 and Battelfield 2142. I strongly recommend this game for all the shooter fans out there.
