Summary: Terrible, sloppy and inconsistent controls, irritating and repetitive gameplay, stupid AI, frustrating point of view issues, boring if not mentally challenged story, agitating time constraints, bland and uninteresting graphics and the list goes on. Basically everything about the game is awful. Even the idea isn't that original there was a better game 10 years or more ago called Black and White that was basically the same concept just far better executed.
Summary: From Dust is a beautiful game. On maps where I’m not forced to take action quickly, I sometimes catch myself sitting there and messing with the physics of the land, watching how one change would affect all of the other elements on the map. If you’re familiar with the concept of cause and effect and enjoy "what if" questions and scenarios, then you’d probably get a kick out of this puzzle game.
Summary: If you are looking for something like Black&White or even Populus then you need to keep looking. This is more like a puzzle game, all you do is help them cross water or build a wall...you can move elements like water, lava, sand to help them but thats it, i give this 1 star because it pretends to be something different when you watch the Video, after 5 levels it is rather boring and you have no control over the People or help building or Farm or well yeah nothing like that...
Summary: It's a rather simple game, but enjoyable enough if you only pay a couple dollars for it like I did. It's a bad port that leaves you wondering what to do and what commands to enter. Some text references xbox controllers and not the equivalent pc commands which can make it hard to play. Once you get past that, it's fun-ish. It's also short. There are only 8 missions. It's worth a few bucks, but not much more.
Summary: I had a little experience with download or indie games before buying this game. They were fun and everything but nothing to talk about. This game changed all that for me. This game I would recommend to any of my friends that would listen. The gameplay starts simple enough, building up as your tribe progresses. Finding relics initiates a level to find a new power of your people. Eventually being able to manipulate most of your world.
Summary: Game idea is quite good, but it is unplayable on the PC. I have a machine much higher than the recommended specs but movement is very jerky and once a lot of stuff is happening it makes the game impossible to control and gave me a headache. I LITERALLY just quit playing this game in disgust and came here to find something better. I had to write a review.
Summary: I believe its a nice 1 or 2 day game. It's not hard to win, but I had a nice few hours. It's a bit short. I give 3 Stars because I like games more difficult and I like to have a game that lasts longer than 2 days.
