Summary: I bought this program as my second chess program after having Chessmaster 10th Edition for about a year. Unlike chessmaster Fritz seems to be more geared towards people already familiar with the rules of chess and with an already good strength of play (1500+).
Summary: This game is one of the worst chess programmes I have ever come across. You can never beat Fritz when you play against him, and the chess-learning sections on the game have no basic ways of completing them like in the game Fritz and Chesster. I sold my Fritz 9. Buy something else.
Summary: The game has a "save game" option, but do not think that you will ever see that game again once you have saved it. The game gets placed in a database of over a million other games!! I tried numerous times to save a game and load it back ... I never succeeded.
Summary: This has to be the number 1 chess game you can buy in terms of playability, computer based and online. The graphics are superb and it has so so many options to select. I also own Shreeder 9 UCI - which is a fantatsic piece of software, however, Fritz has the edge in terms of graphics and online...
Summary: I am a bit disapointed with this program after hearing so much about it. The main problem is that the instructions are a bit hard to follow, for example if I want to analise a certain postion, I find I am unable to do so. How do I set up a position on a blank board?,there seems no way to do so.
Summary: Attention il est en anglais. Et lorsque vous jouez mal, c'est la voix des monty python que vous entendrez et qui se moquera de vous. Il est bon de maitriser l'anglais, vraiment, pour utiliser au mieux ce logiciel.
