Summary: Loved the original. This...not even close. Lots of cool new powers, but the same villains over and over. How many times can you fight Fortissimo and Red Sun? Everything that was cool about FF was overdone, yet flat, in the sequel. Plus the storyline was just awful. The original was pure cheese, the kind that rocks, but this is pure limburger. There's a reason why no more sequels were mad e, as this game killed the franchise. Shame.
Summary: A must buy for people that like super hero type rpgs. Even though this game is great it's not as good as the first Freedom Force even the packaging of the first Freedom Force is better. In the first one you got a glossy manual and a case for the game discs but for this one you get a plain paper manual and paper cases for the game discs.
Summary: I just played the demo, and unfortunately will not be purchasing this title. I have loved super heroes and comic books since my youth and this only seems to be a mockery of the genre. These Romanesque soldiers come running out of no-wheres and the interface is awful.
Summary: I started the first game back in high school and didnt know anything about part two until I looked for the first one. I just remembered the game and wanted to play it once again but after learning about the second one I figured I would play that one instead. I work a lot so I dont get to play as much as I would like to but I got threw the first part of the game and it plays like the first. It is as fun as I remember it!
Summary: This game was a trailblazer, of sorts, for what we now accept as superhero action/RPG video games. It's a neat title, and is fun. The graphics are good, the story is good, and my only complaint is that game play is handled only through the keyboard and mouse. You can not use a controller with this game, which is disappointing to me, as I am, normally, a console (XBOX 360) gamer.
Summary: I really liked this game (imagine that - what with the star rating and all) I must admit I am a comic junky, or was in the somewhat distant past anyway. I'm also an old-school gamer (because I am probably classifiable as 'old' in gamer-years) so I am technically the target audience. Regardless, I enjoyed the game immensely. These guys built two comic themed games pretty much as I would have build them had I ever gotten into the game industry.
Summary: This game is a whole lot of fun. It's not as long as the first one, but it has a more integrated and interesting storyline. And it's fun! Highly recommended. Hey, Irrational, make that third game.
Summary: Freedom Force vs The Third Reich is a really great game to play. It allows you to create your very own characters, powers, and what types of damage they wield. This game can be quite intense. You will not be disappointed.
Summary: This was an excellent game in terms of fun and quality. The graphics are excellent and the story is well suited to the story at the same time. However, it was far too short, and lacks some replayability.
