Summary: Its OK, not as good as Unity but functional and fun. Glitches are unavoidable, and graphics (which I don't care about but whatever) are meh, but games are fun and the Model Packs allow new and different games. Everything can be made but don't expect to create the new Half Life or something. Fun to mess around and create games for friends, but if you want to make a complex shooter go for Unity.
Summary: Overall, this game is OK. It does give you full control over layout and enemies, power ups, lighting and everything for a game, but there are downsides to this even though its not terrible. The AI isn't that good, if a you're in another room and walk past the door to another room containing enemies (doesn't matter which enemy, built in or from an add-on pack) they will be waiting for you on either side of the door, or if there's one enemy then one side of the door.
Summary: FPS creator, for being a click and build engine, was quite flexible, easy to use, and most of all, fun. I read a lot of pessimism, but with a mod to the engine, nome nice looking, high quality models, and some scripting talent, an experienced user can truly make something of current bargain bin commercial quality, or better. FPSC comes with a good bit of stock media, and while the quality of these aren't disgusting, they aren't of a quality level for a commercial game.
Summary: This software totally suck, my computer is at good requirements condition, but when i was trying to test my game, its so laggy, the FPS rate just 24 !!! But my computer spec is higher than recommended and i just make two rooms and one corridor and at last one enemy !!!
Summary: Ok, I have read MANY reviews claiming this software is buggy, slow, and has very little customization. Here is the deal, you are basically programming a game, but with a very easy to use interface. If you don't have the umph in your computer, the program does act unstable, and slow. As for the customization, as long as you read the manual and work with the object scripts, you can produce a serious FPS.
Conclusion: This has to be the worst game engine ever. If you go on to their homepage the screenshots look really impressive and you start to get these delusions that making a commercial game with this is going to be easy, but you soon find out that you are wrong. The files sizes are huge and a single level game can take well over 40 minutes to load. On top of that the lag is unbelievable and you are lucky to ever get your frame rate over 10 per second.
Conclusion: A great little game creator with some cool physics for you to play with and a pretty large online community with lots of free media to download, the only problem is that it is riddled with bugs and works differently on other systems and the fpsc forum is quite rude and unhelpful when asking a simple question and most notably the moderators tend to pick sides regardless, but apart from that this is a good play about, but please dont think you will make a game with this cos...
Conclusion: Well it sounds like you need a new graphics card that can handle the frame rate in my dads opinion, who happens to own a computer shop hehe, get a new pc or upgrade you current one, and if you danty have anything nice to say dont say it at all, think about what your going to say before you say it, it does not deserve 1 star, so buy a new computer and stop leaving bad comments for people that have wored hard to bring us this.
