Summary: I always loved Football Manager (although I don't consider myself an addict). Bought this game very shortly after the release and after installing about two patches this is my latest review: - if you play with your best tactic for a season, the AI will "learn" how you play and your team begins to give away points ridiculously - very random matches for instance with benfica (same players, same tactics and 100% fit players) i beat Bayern for 5-1 aggregate and in the next...
Summary: Took a few months to get used to it but once I got going I thought it was good. The game play in general is quite good but there are some frustrating in match moments such as the throw-in taker throwing the ball straight to the opposition. If this and some of the stupid stuff the goalkeepers do were eradicated it would massively improve the game.
Summary: All the bits that have made this game so great are still there with the added bonuses of the classic mode, scenario mode etc........ but as much as I've tried to adapt to steam it seems at every turn it pops up its ugly head and irritates the hell out of me; endless updates and promotional baggage that is frankly unnecessary. It has frozen twice causing me to lose my game.............sort it our sega.
Summary: at the moment I'm finding it hard. Can't seem to build any form, beating much bigger teams one week and losing heavily to a minnow the next. but I'm sure I will get it eventually. The layout and match simulation is an improvement on the last version.
Summary: Came very quickly but was very disappointed with the game itself. Far worse then last years and it seems they'v been unable to strike the balance between the classic and normal as the former's too simple with the latter being too drawn out.
