  • Excerpt: Introduction Football Manager 2011 is the most recent edition created by Sports Interactive and Sega. Having played and reviewed Fifa Manager previously I was interested to try out the game and draw some comparisons to ultimately determine which of the two games is better. The game starts in the 2010/11 season. You have the choice of managing a team in a major or minor league from across the world.

  • Excerpt: Positives Very addictive gameplay you will find yourself sucked in by the day to day business of your club. Great value for money as there hundreds of hour of gameplay in football manager. Transfer windows are an exciting time and you will feel a rush of satisfaction when you land your number 1 transfer target 3D players during games are a welcome addition to the franchise giving an added layer of depth to the game. Size of player database is huge and very impressive.
  • Pros: Replay Value and so very addictive .
  • Cons: Sound, not for those who don't like football .

Football Manager 2011 - Brilliant interactive gameplay

  • Excerpt: I had been playing on Football Manager 2008 for some time and was getting bored of the predictability, time for an update I thought. I bought Football Manager 2011 from Amazon for £11.99, and what a bargain it has turned out to be! The amount of detail in the game is phenomenal, and it is far too easy to get addicted to it. I started the game as Mansfield Town FC in the Blue Square Premier and I am in my second season, now struggling in League Two.
  • Pros: Thorough detail, matches are great to watch
  • Cons: Very addictive, you'll see hours fly by !

Football Manager 2011 - My own review

netahersh, Ciao
21 July 2011
  • Excerpt: How do you improve the best clubs management game in the world? Slowly and carefully. Football Manager 2011 does not bring with it great revolutions, but it has enough innovations and changes to keep its place at the top of the table. It is hard to write reviews on "yearly games" (renewed annually). Sometimes this is a major revolution which faces us with a new game(for better or worse), and sometimes you need magnifying glass to identify the changes.
  • Pros: most Complete football management experience, Variety of convenient wizards, Perfect and updated s
  • Cons: Too many interactions, Conversations with players too artificial, Questionable transfers model

  • Excerpt: I have very much enjoyed the game it is very fun simple and easy to use, the transfer budgets are unfairly allocated as when i was at Everton i received only four million to buy player and at rangers football club i received seven million, over all the game is fun and easy but very addictive!
  • Pros: Simple to use, Easy gameplay, variety of teams and competitions
  • Cons: can take up alot of PC run time

Football Manager 2011 - The Best Yet?

JamesPywe..., Ciao

  • Excerpt: Ever since the early days of Championship Manager in 1992, the market of football management simulation games has improved each and every year with a new title coming out roughly every year. Since the break-up between Eidos and Sports Interactive, the Football Manager series has dominated the market in my opinion. With every new release, there have been more and more features added to the game and Football Manager 2011 is no different.
  • Pros: Gameplay, Longevity, Addictive
  • Cons: Sound

No Real Suprises

deanlowdon, Play.com
20 March 2011
  • Conclusion: If you've ever played any of Football Manager titles from the last four or five years this 2011 version will not really hold any suprises for you. There is the odd evolution from last year, the most important being more detailed and realistic transfer and contract negotations with computer controlled teams and players now far more willling to budge from their initial demands. As you would expect the teams are also fully updated up to the September 2010 transfer window.
