    It is still the flight simulator of choice for enthusiasts and pilots alike. The range of aircraft is fantastic. The editing software that comes with the simulator is also top notch. It is just a shame that the tutorials were not fully subtitled. Read more

    Are the visuals truly worth it to bleed thousands of dollars to build a system that'll properly showcase FSX in all of its glory? Well, that's up in the air, but most of us will have to settle with a decent portrayal of visuals for the sake of the massive amounts of content in the game.     This is my first real plane simulator. I have been flying rc planes and simulators for a while. This is a great simulator. The transition from the ultralight to a cross country mulitple stop flight with a 747 is amazingly easy. Some of the other reviews mentioned the screen freezing. I have a 256mb video card and 1gb of RAM. My screen freezes in "high quality" settings. That is where the landing crews and everything else will show up. Read more

    You are dealing with a Microsoft Product here, that means you will get head aches, you will become confused, and you will get discouraged. Honestly, get through it and put up with it until you can get it to work right. After that its all down hill. The textures are great on the new aircraft, and although there are no 2D representations of the cockpits they work very well. Read more or see product

    Nice addon to FSX, but unless you are a stickler for the latest and greatest and you have Traffic 2005, well... There are a few enhancements I noticed, like more variety in the road traffic vehicles and such, but mostly not that much different from the 2005 version. Read more

    This game certianly will give the average person a very good idea of how and what it is like to fly the real thing. I certianly wouldn't use it as a training aide, but it will very much put you ahead when you do your first flight lesson with a certified instructor. Read more

    Finally, after all these years, I can operate the flight simulator on my MAC by courtesy of Bootcamp and MS Vista installed on my dual processor MacBook Pro. (I will say Vista is a bit baffled by the new Mac touch pad, but maybe a mouse would take care of that.) For me, this has to be the best gaming and entertainment program in existence, and I was not disappointed by the easy installation. Read more

    • The atmosphere that it creates. With simulation speed control, you can fast forward time technically.
    • Graphics, Ground Equipments, Settings, and Controls. Not many air crafts. Airports need improvements, and accuracy.

    This game is amazing! I was stunned when I bought this, the snow lanscapes are truly stunning! Every time you go on it you want to explore the world! One minute i was flying over the pyramids over Egypt the next minute i was travelling to the alps!
