Summary: I bought this game on release day, back when playstation was "the main thing" in gaming. That is the PS one. This game was great then with graphics that were not seen before. By today's standards, it still looks better than most Indie titles. Even though I have owned all final fantasys since the original, but 7 is what put the series on the map and made square enix what it was at it's best. Too bad they made 13 and mucked their name up.
Summary: This game is what set the bar for the term RPG to me. Hundreds of hours i spent playing this when i was kid. Anyone who is a RPG fan must have this title in there collection. I recommend this to everyone who says they are fans of the genre.
Summary: This is hands down a must buy game. It's 2014 and im still playing it, like, insanity. Really the graphics are good for the first 3d final fantasy game and the story takes a dark turn from sucking the planets life blood to causing a catastrophe to become a god. Whew! You'll love the characters and you'll probably play the other FF7 games out there.
Summary: Simply put: timeless. As of September 2004, Final Fantasy VII has sold more than 9.5 million copies worldwide, earning it the position of the best-selling Final Fantasy title. The revolutionary battle system, with its vast customization, opened up new doors for future games. There are many extras, as well as a very strong storyline, that weaves a web of war, deceit, and possible destruction of the planet.
Summary: This game is fantastic, and you wont be able to put it down for a long long time. I have over 120+ hours played on my game save. Final Fantasy VII Platinum Edition features a revamped old soundtrack...that I find 2x better than the PSone version's soundtrack. Although it takes a while to adjust to the numpad controls, after playing for a while, you'll wonder how you would have done it any other way.
Summary: This is by far the greatest game ever. When you take into the account that there is a sequel now out and a movie based on the events that happen at the end of the game.It was challenging but ohh so fun and the graphics were the best around when it came out in 1997.Despite the fact that technology has come so far this is still by far the greatest game an console has ever seen. The movies in it were great like Sephiroth and the fire for example. The storyline completly...
Summary: well 1st let me say that this game has a very good replay value. ive played the psx ver of this game. and let me say getting the pc ver. is well worth getting.. say if your psx brakes (like mines did) you got the pc ver witch will last much longer.. (and you need no memory cards on top of that) but for a price.. its price is kinda high but its for a reason. replay value ;-) & depending on what ver. of the game you get.. as far as i know there 3 diffrent ver.
Summary: An unbelievably complex, deep plot which is strengthened by even more impressive characters. Absolutely incredible. I will never play another game like it. If you like action games and can't stand five minutes of plot development this game is not for you. The cutscenes are impressive but overall the graphics aren't great compared to today's standards.
Summary: Alright, Final Fantasy 7. What a game, but why? Well first of all, it is in one of the oldest RPG families around. FF's have been with us for what seems like forever, and has given people a lot of time to get hooked on the wonderful stories and original gameplay. But this review is on the 7th not those others so here's the facts: It's a ropleplaying game (RPG) And so being is very story driven.
Summary: As an avid fan of the Final Fantasy series, I have played most every game in the series. (Games after VIII yet included because I've yet to get myself a Playstation/PS2.) Overall, the quality of the Final Fantasy series is excellent, but Final Fantasy VII is still my favorite, beating out even the later Final Fantasy VIII.
