Final Fantasy VII PC (re-release) Review

23 September 2012
  • Conclusion: While I may have skipped over our usual graphics page, I didn’t want to linger on that part too much until the end of the review, as very little has changed, but thats not to say they haven’t improved anything, with this latest re-release of the title come several “minor” tweaks that add up to a big...

Final Fantasy VII

23 October 2000
  • Excerpt: Final Fantasy VII is Square-Enix’s bestselling video game with over ten million copies sold. It debuted on the PlayStation and has been re-released on the PC twice. This review is based on the 2012 release that offers achievements, character booster (I never used it), and cloud saves.
  • Pros: Engrossing story and excellent character development; nice magic system where each character can learn every spell.
  • Cons: Some of the graphics didn't age well, broken cloud save system.

  • Pros: N/A

Final Fantasy 7 Review

28 August 2012
  • Conclusion: It's enough. The original hyperbole of the experience still dazzles. As the gaming world marvelled at a new 3D dawn, Final Fantasy 7's stentorian soundtrack, epic summoning spells and soaring storyline seemed to draw itself up to the huge potential of disc-based games and 3D worlds.

Tom's Games
26 November 2012
